Help Us Build the Future of Eilat
The Terminal Innovation Center — Where Climate Innovation Meets Tourism
Eilat stands at a turning point. Once solely a tourist destination, the city is now poised to become a global leader in green tourism and climate technology. At the heart of this transformation is the Terminal Innovation Center — a bold initiative to diversify Eilat’s economy, empower its youth, and protect its unique environment.
Why This Is So Important
With over 2.7 million annual tourists and a population of 67,000, Eilat’s economy is deeply reliant on tourism — an industry vulnerable to pandemics, wars, and climate crises.
The Terminal Innovation Center will change that.
By bringing together startups, research institutions, high-tech companies, and community programs, the Terminal will serve as a vibrant hub for innovation in sustainability, education, and entrepreneurship.
A City of Resilience
Eilat is more than a vacation destination — it is Israel’s resilient frontier, located at the meeting point of three borders, far from the country’s center and surrounded by geopolitical complexity. Its geographic isolation, modest population, and national strategic role demand a robust local economy and social infrastructure.
In times of national crisis, Eilat has opened its arms to displaced families from across Israel, offering refuge, support, and stability. As Israel’s southern gateway, Eilat plays a vital role in the country’s resilience.
Strengthening Eilat means strengthening Israel — and building the Terminal Innovation Center is a key part of ensuring the city remains a place of safety, opportunity, and strength year-round.
Our Mission
To drive sustainable economic growth in Eilat by creating a thriving ecosystem focused on green tourism and climate technology — attracting investment, empowering residents, and preserving our natural beauty.
Our Vision
To transform Eilat into a resilient, globally connected innovation hub — a model for cities worldwide striving to merge economic vitality with environmental stewardship.

On Saturday, October 7th, in a horrific act of pure evil, hundreds of Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel by land, sea, and air. They began an undiscriminating slaughter of the elderly, the weak, men, women, children, infants, and animals in communities near the Gaza Strip. At the same time, thousands of rockets and missiles targeted cities all over the country, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, to maximize harm to civilians.
More than 1,400 people have been viciously murdered and over 3,800 wounded to varying degrees. It is also reported that over 200 people are classified as missing or captives after being kidnapped and taken to Gaza, among them children and senior citizens.
As a result of these events, Israel is in a war targeting the terrorist organizations in Gaza and the northern border. Its security forces are working to protect Israeli civilians on all fronts. In light of these events, hundreds of thousands of Israeli citizens were forced to leave their homes and become refugees in their own country.
Eilat, a leading tourist destination in Israel, is the most southern and, currently, the safest, most isolated location. It absorbed over 60,000 refugees, doubling its population in less than a week.
The war situation has significantly impacted the mental well-being of many. A great number of people have been directly or indirectly traumatized and require ongoing emotional assistance.
The municipality of Eilat is operating an emergency call center, an emotional assistance center, and logistics centers for distribution.
We are facilitating accommodation in local hotels and private homes, providing food, hygiene products, clothing, medicine, mental services, pensions for pets, medical services, and everything else needed in this time of crisis.
The city faces a tremendous overload of requests and is doing its best to meet everyone’s needs.
Eilat residents, local business owners, and companies that have contributed time and resources with an open hand. However, the supplies are quickly running out, and the needs are increasing daily.
Due to the war throughout the country, the city is forced to cope, at this stage, with its own resources and volunteer organizations helping in the field.
We would appreciate any assistance to support the internally displaced people currently staying in Eilat.
